Everyone dislikes getting up in the morning, especially those who We stock a wide range of clocks including those which slip under the pillow and vibrate, those which are battery-powered, and use a vibrating pad, and those which are mains-powered with a vibrating pad. Inductive Loop Systems.....
Domestic loop sytems for installation in lounges in private houses, Nursing Homes, and small industrial sites are available. Loop systems are still the most popular help with television for those with a hearing aid, as they are easily installed by a competent D-I-Y person, and allow high quality listening even with other disturbing noises in the room. Ask us for advice about the systems available. For those with a hearing loss and no hearing aid, we can provide a loop-listening unit, which gives improved hearing, within areas such as Churches and Theatres. Portable loop systems come complete in various carry-cases, and can be utilised in a variety of circumstances. We have also recently introduced a new range of battery-powered 'stand-up' portable systems for use in a one-to-one situation. Called VIVID, the range comes in a number of colours, and an overnight charge permits all-day use. We also have infra red and FM systems which allow improvement for those with or without a hearing aid. Further details on request. The Door.....

Baby Alarms/Nurse Call Systems OTHER ITEMS..... TINNITUS Some people have trouble getting to sleep at night because of annoying 'noises in the head'. These should not be ignored, but medical advice sought. Where no medical intervention is available, then it may be worth considering a 'tinnitus clock'. This not only functions as a clock/alarm, but also produces a number of different soothing sounds. These can often 'mask' the sound of the tinnitus, by distracting the brain. The phone is still one of the most commonly- used modes of communication, but it can very often still mean problems for those with a hearing difficulty. We can offer help in knowing that the phone is ringing, and hearing over the phone.
