There are a lot of items now available to with mobility in all walks of life. This section of our website is intended to give some guidance on the different areas. By the very nature of there being this extensive range, we can only cover a small part, but......

Wheelchairs....

These generally come as:-

----- self-propelled,

-----carer-propelled, or

-----motorised.

They are divided into

-----lightweight

-----heavy-duty.

They are further sub-divided into whether they are mainly for indoor or outdoor use

A number of accessories are available such as protective covers

Rollators (aka Walkers)....

These are aids to walking for those who are ambulatory but need a little support. They are pushed-along by the user, and have 3 or 4 wheels and handle-bar brakes. The 4-wheel version is usually ftted with a hinged seat, which also acts as a cover for a shopping basket.....
